Keeping Marriage Fun

In this episode of At Home, Kristin Rogers leads the discussion on “Keeping Marriage Fun”.  Our past marriage episode is one of our most listened to, so we decided it was time for another one.
And while this one is more light hearted, we still think you’ll come away with some good nuggets of truth.

First we talk about whether or not fun in marriage even matters.
Is it important?
Answer: yes!  We think it is.
We believe marriage should be enjoyed, not just maintained.

We want to have fun with our spouses and we want you to as well.
So we talk about some of the ways we have fun in our own marriages: laughing together, going the extra mile, having adventures, and Greta mentions doing a babysitting trade with friends. You’re going to want to listen to this stuff!

Best of all, there’s a quick question round at the end of the episode, where you’ll get to hear us answer questions about marriage, like who’s the better dancer. Its a good time.

We know not every season of marriage is fun. But we hope this episode offers you encouragement to add in fun so that you have that reserve there for the harder times. Its just one of the ways we can work on strengthening our marriages. And that matters a great deal to us.
